Livestock Feeds is a leading manufacturer of high-quality animal feeds for fish, poultry and livestock farmers in Nigeria. Their mission is to provide farmers with nutritional feed products that enhance productivity and support the growing agricultural sector.

Project Brief

Livestock Feeds required a responsive website that would effectively showcase their wide range of animal feed products while also presenting corporate information to engage stakeholders, partners, and potential customers. The site needed to reflect the company’s values, provide easy access to product information, and ensure a smooth user experience across all devices.

Research and Discovery

Understanding the needs of Livestock Feeds and their target audience was the first step. We analyzed their existing digital presence, took a site tour and conducted competitive research.

Wireframing

We started by creating hand drawn wireframes to articulate my ideas, then low-fidelity wireframes to outline the structure and layout of the site. The focus was on simplicity, ensuring that product information was easy to find and that users could seamlessly navigate between product categories

UI Design

In the UI design phase, the goal was to merge form and function. The website adopted Livestock Feeds’ brand colors to maintain consistency with their identity. A clean, professional look was chosen with clear typography and ample white space to enhance readability.

Development & Testing

Once the design was finalized, I proceeded to develop the responsive website using WordPress and Elementor. Cross device and Cross browser testing was engaged to ensure seamless functionality.

Outcome

The new Livestock Feeds website not only met all design goals but also delivered measurable business impact. The responsive and now, user-friendly site has led to a 30% increase in customer inquiries through the website.

The optimized product showcase has enhanced visibility, resulting in a higher conversion rate for bulk orders.

Additionally, the professional online presence has strengthened Livestock Feeds’ brand credibility, attracting new business partnerships and expanding market reach.
