Client Overview

The Osun Economic Summit is a government-led initiative aimed at opening up Osun State to private sector-led investments. The summit brought together policymakers, investors, and business leaders to explore opportunities for economic growth and collaboration.

Project Brief

Unotech Media Group was tasked with leading the creative direction and overall experience of the summit. This included event venue design and setup, stage design, audiovisual production, print materials, digital marketing, and the overall brand direction.

The goal was to create a memorable and meaningful experience that would reflect the identity of Osun State while engaging over 2,000 attendees across a 3-day event.

Create a Strong Identity
Develop a unique visual theme that represents the culture and economy of Osun State.

Design a venue and stage setup that delivers a powerful and engaging experience for attendees.

Clear Communication
Ensure all materials, both print and digital, clearly communicate the summit’s purpose and opportunities.

Consistency Across Touchpoints
Maintain a unified look and feel across stage design, screens, brochures, and digital platforms.

Drive Engagement
Use digital marketing to attract participants and keep them engaged before and during the event.

Creative Direction

The big idea was to build the entire visual identity around the local creative economy. We focused on the textile and art industries, which are a strong part of Osun’s heritage.

Working with Olaitan Bolarinwa from the artist village, we developed a visual language that combined traditional adire (tie & dye) patterns with modern design elements.

The color palette was inspired by the vibrant works of Jimoh Buraimoh, giving the event a bold and culturally rich look. This became the foundation for all visual assets used across the event.

Unotech Media Group delivered a cohesive experience across physical and digital platforms including: Venue & Stage Design, Audiovisual Experience, Print Materials a nd Digital Marketing Assets.

Outcome

The Osun Economic Summit was a highly successful 3-day event with over 2,000 attendees.

The strong visual identity and immersive experience made the event memorable and impactful.

The summit successfully positioned Osun State as a destination for investment and business opportunities.
